Robby Gordon

Robby Gordon, and Robby Gordon Motorsports will perform a switcharoo this weekend at Michigan Speedway.  Instead of piloting his number 7 Speed Factory machine, he has instead entered himself driving the number 07.  The 07 is not locked into the show, however his 7 car is; going into Michigan 34th in owner points.  No word yet on primary sponsorship, but Gordon has listed PJ Jones on the entry blank to pilot the 7 car.

There has yet to be and explanation as to why Gordon is making this move, but I am speculating that this most likely is sponsor related, or could be an attempt to raise the 07 car in owner’s standings in a ploy to attract more sponsorship.
