The Speedzine is an online internet web-zine that presents news, information, statistics and articles that surround the motorsports genre. Specializing in NASCAR, The Speedzine focuses on the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, the Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series titles. The Speedzine also takes a look at other popular motorsports series including, IndyCar, Formula 1 and the NHRA.
First launched in February 2003 as The NASCAR Speedzine Presented by DCV Enterprises, The Speedzine has seen many different designs and formats. It is the place where founder and webmaster Daniel Vining showcases his love for auto racing. It this current configuration, the stories, blogs, articles, and statistics are derived from the NASCAR community at large. Social networking through services including Twitter, Facebook, Friend Feed, and more will allow The Speedzine to provide a wider range of content for it’s members and readers.
Ultimately, I will present the stories and topics that interest me, and provide you a view of how I see this fast paced sport. I will use text, video, photographs, graphics, and sounds to convey my thoughts and opinions. If there are certain topic areas, or stories you would like discussed, please send me and email.

In addition to a pick to win the Cup Series race, I also follow drivers and teams in other series, and on a race by race basis, will pick various drivers to follow during a race weekend. This feature is sometimes a Facebook/Twitter Exclusive.
The Underdogs
With the advent of the Top 35 Rule, I have found an interest in the drama surrounding Knockout Qualifying and Start-and-Park teams as they ride the roller coaster of ups and downs that has become Nascar. Everyone loves to see an Underdog at the front contending for the win from time to time.
